Safe and compliant chemical solutions
At Van der Heijden Milieu- en Installatietechniek, we understand the complexity of chemical installations. Our expertise lies in the safe storage and handling of chemical substances. We do this by carrying out a comprehensive Process Risk Inventory and Evaluation (PRI&E) with our clients. This process helps us identify any safety and regulatory bottlenecks.
Custom-made designs
Based on the PRI&E, we design chemical plants that meet legal requirements and specific customer needs. For existing installations, we offer custom-made solutions. This includes inspection, modification or replacement of installations in consultation with the client.
Choice of materials and cost optimisation
A key advantage of our approach is that we are not tied to specific materials. We are specialised and certified to apply a wide range of materials, including plastics and stainless steel, both below and above ground. Together with the client (and suppliers), we find the most cost-efficient solution. (TCO)
Mother-daughter installations
In the industrial sector, IBCs (Intermediate Bulk Containers) are often used to package chemicals. Van der Heijden Milieu- en Installatietechniek offers mother-daughter installations for safe handling of these substances.
An IBC is placed on a tank with a drip tray. This allows the chemicals to flow directly into the tank, significantly reducing contact with these substances. In case of any leaks, the chemicals remain inside the unit, minimising soil contamination. The plant is equipped with the necessary safety systems to comply with current regulations. Also fully compliant with PGS 31 and BRL 7800.
